Holiday Road!

Greetings Boosom Bloggin Buddies!  I am asking for prayers right now, for my sanity... oh, and the safety of my spider monkees and myself!  The Quest van is loaded and gassed up.  We are about to head out on a partial-family vacay.  It's just me and my boys making this trip.  My hubby has to work and has classes next week, so I thought this would be a great time to head home to Missouri and see my family and friends.  This is my very first time making a road trip this far and this long by myself... let alone by myself with 2 small kiddos.

I always wanted a dad like Clark Griswold... he was my dream dad!

First stop will be in Charlotte for a few days.  Connor is going to see his first love and go to her birthday party.  They see each other and hug and talk back and forth about how much they missed each other and love each other.  Can you believe they are only 5 yrs old and already talking like a couple of 16 yr old lovebirds???  It's kinda sick, but me and my hubby are like that too.  Still hug and kiss and say "I love you" a bunch of times a day.  Connor says he wants to be just like his daddy and in the romantic department, I would have to say Connor is following his daddy's footsteps.  I totally scored with the sexy, romantic type of guy!
Second stop will be somewhere around Memphis.  I don't think I can drive 15 hrs straight to Missouri.  So we'll catch some ZZZ's around there.  Then by Monday afternoon, I will be in Missouri in the safety of my momma and gramma.  Well, probably more like, the boys will be in the safety of their Meme and Granny Great.  No telling how much sanity I will have... I just pray that this whole trip is successful.  :)  That's why I am asking for prayers!  LOL   Pray I don't do anything Clark Griswold-ish!!!  However, I wouldn't mind seeing Channing Tatum or Josh Duhamel all sexy shirtless and driving a convertible Corvette and drive-by flirting with me the whole way back home!  LMAO   Wishful thinkin right???
Take care everyone... remember to pray for us!!!  Pray I don't lose it and hold-up a Six Flags before it's over!  LOL!
